Discovering Stillness by the Lake – Immersion Retreat
Wednesday, June 20 until Sunday, June 24, 2018 Muskoka Region, Ontario, Canada
Join us for a lakehouse retreat as we dive into the truth of who we are and transform our stressful stories into a kinder experience of life. Five deep days of The Work, yoga, stillness, and 30 private acres for meditation forest walks. Canoe, kayak, sauna, lounge, or swim if you wish. This retreat is all about you.
Are you looking for unconditional peace? It’s available. Using The Work, a simple process of self-inquiry, we will go straight to the source of all of our “wars”—our stressful beliefs. We’ll explore our limiting beliefs about ourselves, our relationships, our bodies, and more in a supportive, tranquil setting. Asking, listening and taking time to be still is a path to living a kinder life. This retreat is for anyone new to The Work as well as experienced practitioners. Who would you be without your story?
In addition to diving deeply into self-inquiry, we are offering some bonus activities to connect mindfully with our dearest selves. Everything is optional, at no extra charge.
- Daily yoga led by David Slocum, a certified Ashaya instructor
- 30 acres of private forestland for meditation walks
- Wood-fired sauna to detox your body before bed
- Kayak, canoe, or SUP over to the island at sunset
